Jet Ski water crafts refers to the stand-up and sit-down water machine. These are small, light and faster. These water crafts are produced by all brands of water machines. Jet Ski is actually a brand name of water crafts that was first made by Kawasaki and was made by Jake Schlegel.

The Jet Ski water crafts were initially designed for 1-2 passengers in stand-up style but later water craft for up to 4 passengers were also made. Jet Ski water crafts are also used for towing the skiers. These are designed to experience the real fun and have smooth and agile handling and are faster than many others. The important feature of these machines is that these do not have external propellers so they do not harm other swimmers and are safe for wild life. Jet Ski water crafts are used by rescue team, police, rangers and navy due to its amazing speed. For their use, these water crafts are equipped with electronic compass, GPS, radar reflector and a modem of radio. In 1980s, these water  crafts were powered by two stroke engine which were lighter than four stroke engine but its drawback was it was not environment friendly and was more polluting. But now most of the Jet Ski water crafts have four stroke engine.

These are inexpensive than most of the speed boats. Due to its high speed, it is responsible for most of the accidents in water. The rider should have enough experience to control this high speed water craft and should follow all the rule and regulations in order to avoid and serious accident or injuries.

Owning a Jet Ski can be so costly, as you buy a Jet Ski you also need to buy its accessories. Its protection is also very costly that includes covers and docks. Jet Ski docks are necessary for increasing the life span of your Jet Ski.

Jet Ski docks are made of tough material like polythene plastic, aluminum and magnum. The Jet Ski docks are of two kinds. One is sliding dock and the other is rolling dock. Rolling docks are much easier to use. This type of dock has some wheels or rollers attached in the dock that assists in docking. A drawback of this dock is that its part breaks and it require additional cleaning. Another type is sliding docks. This dock has no wheels or rollers on it so it does not require any additional cleaning or it does not break. All you need to do is drag your Jet Ski on to the ramp of this dock.

The docks are very important for Jet Skis as it is a convenient way to store your Jet Ski. It saves your water craft from rusting and wear and tear of the machine. Jet Ski originally refers to the personal water crafts that were first produced by Kawasaki but as these water crafts gained popularity, it became the generic name of all these type of water crafts. Jacob Clapton with Bombardier introduced the water craft in 1960s and as Kawasaki launched its jet ski in 1970s, they came with a brand name sea doo and produced many water crafts that are also referred as jet skis.

Initially the Jet Ski was designed in a stand up style by Kawasaki that has an engine of 400cc and was two-stroke. Later in 1986, Kawasaki again introduced a new version of Jet Ski that was designed in lean-in style and was sporty. This sports model was powered by 650cc engine.  After the success of this model they again introduced a new model that was designed in sit-down style. The reason of this Jet Ski’s popularity was that it was designed for 2 passengers.

As the Jet Ski caught the attention of everyone, all the brands of Jet Skis introduced it in sports for racing and free styling. Jet Ski is refers to both water skiing and a speed boat. All Jet Skis are equipped with gas powered motor to push the water. Jet Ski functions in the same way as a motor cycle; the only difference is we ride it in water. It is accelerated with a throttle that is attached to one of its handle. Jet Skis are available for 1-3 riders and can give you an amazing experience.

Jet Skis are used for fee styling and racing, besides this, it is also used by squads, rescue team and life guards due to its high speed. It is an ideal water craft to ride on for great fun that is why its demand is higher in youngsters.

JET SKI DOCKS

Riding a Jet Ski is so much fun but it is also important to know that how to bring your Jet Ski back to the shore. Jet Ski docks and Jet Ski trailers are used for this purpose. Jet Ski docks are designed for the smooth landing of the Jet Skis. These docks are designed for 1, 2, 3 or 4 seated Jet Ski. It is made up of tough material and is very strongly constructed.

These docks have clips or cable for the safety of Jet Ski and have multiple tie loops. Front and side mounting also helps in secure landing of the Jet Ski. There are two types of dock, one is fixed dock and the other is floating dock. You can also connect your Jet Ski with the side or front mount that assures the safety of Jet Ski. Portable docks are also available in the market that are more preferred because you can take them anywhere with you and you can also take it out when your Jet Ski is winterized.

For safe landing, approach the dock from a greater distance so that you can have a plenty of time for a perfect landing. Reduce your speed first to make the adjustments and when you are about to dock increase the speed a little to lift the front side of Jet Ski on the dock. A high speed docking can cause serious harm so always maintain a steady speed before landing your Jet Ski on the dock.
